Hiking the Grand Canyon Rim To Rim In One Day

21 miles. 8-12 hours. Difficult elevation changes. Extreme temperature shifts. Ask anyone I know. When I set my mind on something, namely an ambitious goal, I usually accomplish it. And I have set my sights on completing a task only a handful of the thousands of tourists who visit each year achieve. This blog will outline my preparation, planning and thoughts leading up to the adventure of a lifetime, currently scheduled to take place Memorial Day Weekend of 2022. I will do my best to outline anything and everything I feel is important, interesting, or entertaining. I also hope it to be useful to any other prospective adventurers who may be inspired to go on their own Canyon sized adventure in the future.
